At Home is moving forward with its expansion plans as the home specialty retailer opens four stores in February.
On February 3, the retailer opened new locations in Nanuet, N.Y.; Johnstown, Colo.; and Ocean Township, N.J. A new store in San Jose, Calif., is scheduled to open later in February.
With the four openings, the retailer will operate 222 locations in 40 stores. The company plans to open between 12 and 15 stores across the United States in 2021.
“We are thrilled to continue toward our long-term potential of operating 600-plus stores in the U.S.,” said Lee Bird, Chairman and CEO of At Home. “With the success of the last three quarters, we continue to take significant market share and emerge as a major winner in the home décor space. Our business is resonating with customers across the country, and we are excited to bring new At Home stores from coast-to-coast.”
Touting itself as a home decor superstore, At Home sells more than 50,000 items for every room of the home. This includes housewares and tabletop products offered in stores that average slightly more than 100,000 square feet.
