Consumers looking to add some color to their collection of cookware have a new selection of tagines from Emile Henry from which to choose.
The upscale kitchenware supplier is offering tagines in four new colors; vert green, blue lagoon, rust and figue (deep purple). It’s important to note that the four colors are limited edition. The Emile Henry units are currently sale priced at $100 (regularly $140).
The tagine is a unique piece of cookware that features a tall, conical lid that locks in aromatic steam and continually bastes. Cooking food in its own juices layers and creates a depth of flavor, which is a great feature and technique when cooking stews or braising meats.
Made from flame ceramic, a tagine can be used either directly on the heat or in the oven and are sold with a 10-year guarantee.
