Fortessa Tableware Solutions has expanded its assortment of glassware with the launch of three new collections from Zwiesel Glass.
Among the new items is the distinctive “hand made by machine stemware” Vervino collection and the Prizma collection. Also new from Fortessa is the value-driven entry price point collection Banquet.
Vervino hits the U.S. market with a collection of eight glasses including Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet, Champagne, Bordeaux, and Burgundy stemware. The glasses are designed to appeal to wine lovers and offer a thin-walled bowl, elongated fine stem and wider foot. Available now in six-piece sets with a suggested retail price of $95.99.
Prizma consists of five glasses including Cabernet, Riesling and Bordeaux. Like a prism, the optic lines inside the bowl refract light and encourage aeration when swirling. Prizma’s wide bowl paired with a tapered opening trap aromas in the glass, enhancing the nose and offer sensory enjoyment. Available now and sold in six-piece sets at a suggested retail price of $107.99.
The six glasses in the Banquet collection offer the same quality and top-selling features of all Schott Zwiesel collections but at a value. The easy profile and soft-curves make it a casual stem that is as comfortable in front of the television as it is elegant on the dinner table. The collection is sold in sets of six with a retail price of less than $50.
“This year has been a unique year for Fortessa Tableware Solutions,” said Deane Priest, senior vice president of Consumer Products, “Our close relationship with Zwiesel Glas has allowed us the flexibility to align with and efficiently service key customer needs via new products.”
