Hailing from Clearwater Beach, Florida, Dvornik is a freelance yacht chef who grew up cooking in her grandparent’s kitchen. Her inspiration comes from old family recipes and she touts her cooking style as “upscale, down-home cooking.”
Dvornik has worked as the only chef on motor and sailing yachts ranging in size from 65 feet to more than 140 feet. She has catered to several high profile clients on private and charter yachts and private estates along the east coast and throughout the Caribbean.
She has professional certifications from the Ashburton Chefs Academy in Devon, United Kingdom, and George Brown Chef School in Toronto. Her yachting certifications were obtained from Bluewater Crew Training in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
Additionally, Dvornik is SCUBA and free dive certified and in pursuit of her 100-ton captain’s license. She is a Top 3 Finalist in the Chef category for the 2020 ACREW Crew Awards with the awards ceremony scheduled for October 10 in Barcelona.
Based in Tampa, Florida, in between freelance positions, she is a volunteer SCUBA diver at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium.
