Helen of Troy’s Housewares Division has named Phyllis Grove as its senior vice president of Marketing, a newly created role.
Previously, Grove was the vice president of Marketing & eCommerce at Hydro Flask, one of the brands in the company’s Housewares Division. In this new role, she will add the Oxo brand to her purview and work to strengthen the marketing approach and implementation across the division.
“Phyllis has been a changemaker for the Hydro Flask brand since day one,” said Larry Witt, president of the Housewares Division. “Her ability to lead high-performing teams and understand consumer trends will positively impact the way we operate across the division.”
Grove brings more than three decades of brand marketing and leadership experience to the new role. She will report to Witt and will continue to be based out of Helen of Troy’s Housewares Division office in Bend, Oregon.
“I am excited to step into this new role in Housewares after an incredible five years leading marketing for Hydro Flask,” said Grove. “I look forward to building relationships with my Oxo teammates and continuing to drive momentum with Hydro Flask.”
Prior to joining Hydro Flask and Helen of Troy, Grove worked in a variety of industries, including consumer packaged goods, food, consumer electronics and natural products.
She built her strategic marketing foundation at Procter & Gamble and Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream. Her other functional roles include leading product management and heading a business team at Kensington Technology Group.
