Oven safe up to 800° Fahrenheit, the saucepan is induction ready and offers an easy-pour rim. It can also be used with the company’s electric multipurpose base to keep dips and fondue warm when used for home entertaining.
The new 4-quart unit adds to Heritage Steel’s selection that includes saucepans in sizes of 2-quarts and 3-quarts.
“While everyone loves a good fry pan, a saucepan is an unsung kitchen hero,” said Bobby Griggs, vice president of Heritage Steel. “This saucepan is perfect for soups, chili, stew and sauces, and saves you from having to take out a large Dutch oven for a weeknight meal.”
The new saucepan is made with a titanium-strengthened cooking surface that is said to be 20 times more resistant to salt corrosion than the typical 18/10 steel. It is also resistant to pitting and metal leaching.
Additionally, Heritage Steel’s specialized 5-ply design uses titanium-strengthened 439 stainless steel for induction capability without sacrificing the durability of its exterior.
