Presented by the Chicago Athenaeum and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies, the Good Design Awards were given to Hestan for its 48-Inch Dual Fuel Range and Ensemble Refrigeration Suites.
“We are very honored to be starting 2021 off with these prestigious awards,” said Eric Deng, president and co-founder of Hestan Commercial Corporation. “2020 was a challenging year for our industry, and the team at Hestan worked very hard to continue providing innovative value to our partners and customers despite new obstacles. This recognition means a great deal to all of us.”
The 48-Inch Dual Fuel Ranges first made their debut at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in 2019. The units feature Marquise Accented handles — with the industry-first MarquiseDisplay inset into the handles — control panel and commercial grade end caps, patented heavy-duty cast-iron grates, and high-performance dual-flow burner system.
The modular Hestan Ensemble Refrigeration Suites meld refrigeration, frozen goods and wine storage into one package. The Hestan column refrigerators and freezers offer food storage with adjustable shelving, a high-performance compressor and antimicrobial stainless steel.
EvenFlow Air Circulating Technology provides uniform and precise temperature control, with independent ventilation for each compartment, and creates an air curtain to prevent cold air from escaping when the door opens, ensuring better food preservation.
Hestan’s modular system gives the consumer freedom to pick and choose between various refrigerators, freezers and wine storage to configure the perfect cold storage center to suit your unique needs.
Presented annually by the Business Intelligence Group, the Big Innovation Awards recognize organizations, products and people that are bringing new ideas to life in innovative ways. Hestan was honored for reimagining the virtual customer experience, successfully launching several high-profile additions to its award-winning product lines, and receiving other notable accolades along the way.
“More than ever, the global society relies on innovation to help progress humanity and make our lives more productive, healthy and comfortable,” said Maria Jimenez, chief operating officer of the Business Intelligence Group. “We are thrilled to be honoring Hestan as they are one of the organizations leading this charge and helping humanity progress.”
