Kitchenware veteran Antonio Galafassi has launched a new company focused on logistics that will help connect home product manufacturers with retailers and consumers.
Based in the Houston suburb of Brookshire, Warefor offers integrated solutions for product development, manufacturing, logistics, sales, marketing, warehousing, distribution, and fulfillment. The company said it offers turnkey solutions to the entire supply chain, creating synergy and speed to market with a customized ready-to-ship domestic inventory of high-quality home products.
Expected to be operational this fall, the company will consist of two divisions: Warefor Solutions, covering product development, design services, sales, marketing and fulfillment; and Warefor Logistics, offering logistics and warehousing services.
“For many manufacturers, the biggest barriers to success in the U.S. market are administration and infrastructure, operations and logistics, and sales and marketing,” said Galafassi, Warefor founder and CEO. “We have experience and expertise in each of these areas for rapid and cost-effective solutions that give manufacturers the edge they need to achieve their goals.”
Housewares veteran Galafassi has an extensive track record, starting in 1986 when he founded Tramontina USA. Under his leadership, the company grew into a leading U.S. cookware brand and became the largest international subsidiary of Brazil’s Tramontina Group.
The Warefor management team also includes CFO Vinicius Babot, formerly of KPMG accounting. His background includes years of financial experience in the U.S.
