Instant Brands is expanding its countertop kitchen electrics assortment with the launch of its first coffeemaker.
Dubbed Instant Pod, the 2-in-1 coffee and espresso maker allows consumers to experience “coffee your way.” Available exclusively at Walmart and Walmart.com, the brewer is priced at $119.
“Our goal at Instant Brands is to change the way people prepare meals and beverages in their home with products that help re-define what taste, convenience and multi-functionality mean in today’s kitchen,” said Dr. Robert Wang, Founder and Chief Innovation Officer with Instant Brands. “With the new Instant Pod, coffee lovers can kickstart their day with fresh brewed coffee or espresso drinks from one machine.”
The addition of a coffeemaker is the latest product expansion for Instant Brands, best known for its Instant Pot multi-cooker. For more than a year, Instant Brand has brought to market a host of small appliances such as an air fryer, air fryer oven, blender, toaster oven and rice cooker.
Instant Brands’ Instant Pot has been a tremendous success and is credited with launching the multi-functional trend that swept through the kitchenware industry in recent years. In the spring of 2019, Instant Brands was acquired by Corelle Brands, owner of legacy kitchenware brands such as Corelle dinnerware and Pyrex.
The coffeemaker brews K-Cup coffee and tea pods, as well as Nespresso capsules. It is also compatible with re-usable pods to help coffee drinkers cut down on plastic waste. The brewer allows users to choose from six different cups sizes, ranging from a single shot of espresso to a 12-ounce travel-size mug.
Other features of the coffeemaker include a removable large-capacity water reservoir and an auto-shutoff feature to conserve energy after 30 minutes of inactivity.
Instant Brands has also released its Instant Milk Frother accessory to complement the Instant Pod to create custom coffee and espresso drinks at home.
