New Kitchenware Brands Highlight JCPenney Holiday Promos

JCPenney’s mid-October kick-off to the holiday shopping season includes the addition of several well-known kitchenware brands to the retailer’s assortment.

As with several of its competitors, the department store will begin the holiday shopping season early and offer shoppers numerous deals in October and Black Friday pricing throughout November.

For those looking to update their kitchen tools to help with holiday meal preparations, JCPenney is rolling out items from several national brands. 

  • Nordic Ware, Wilton, Zoku and Taste of Home will highlight what’s new in bakeware, kitchen tools and cookware
  • Glassware will receive a boost from Schott Zwiesel, Luminarc and Cambridge
  • Brands such as Cuisinart, PowerXL and Sharper Image will also enliven the kitchenware assortment

Jill Soltau, chief executive officer at JCPenney, said the retailer has been working to secure partnerships with national brands and to expand the company’s product offerings to provide compelling merchandise.

“It’s especially important to bring personal traditions into focus this holiday season, and we encourage shoppers to rely on JCPenney for all they need to make the holidays meaningful and memorable,” she said.

As stores across the country see increased foot traffic, JCPenney associates will enforce store capacity limits and social distancing within line queues, in addition to numerous safety precautions already in place. These include requiring face coverings, cleaning of stores with a focus on high-touch areas and holding back returned and tried-on merchandise from the selling floor overnight.

Shoppers can also expect various options through its touchless checkout options, including the mobile wallet in the JCPenney app, its fully digital and easy, “no call needed” technology-based Style on the Go!, contact-free curbside pickup service and in-store pickup of online orders placed on the company’s flagship store,
