The deal brings the entire Hampton Forge roster of brands into Lenox. This includes Hampton Forge, Hampton Forge Signature, Tomodachi by Hampton Forge, Skandi and Argent Orfèvres.
“Having the Hampton Forge brands in our company portfolio will enable us to expand our reach and relevance to American consumers and solidify our position as the Leading American Company in our category,” said Mads Ryder, CEO of Lenox.
The acquisition of Hampton Forge by Lenox is the latter’s first since it was purchased by private investment firm Centre Lane Partners in October of 2020. The deal also expands Lenox’s flatware assortment that currently includes brands Reed & Barton and Dansk.
“(Hampton Forge) adds a price segment and range where we are not strong,” Ryder told the trade publication HFN. “That gives us more levels to play on.”
“The expertise and knowledge that Lenox brings as an American company steeped in honor and tradition make Lenox the ideal steward of the Hampton Forge brands,” said Joni Amar, COO of Hampton Forge. “We look forward to continuing to bring our passion for creativity and design to our customers and the market.”
