MacKenzie-Childs Annual Barn Sale Goes Virtual

The Royal Check dinnerware collection.

For the 13th consecutive year, MacKenzie-Childs is holding its Barn Sale, but this year fans of the upscale home brand will need to do their shopping virtually.

Through August 2, an array of products are offered up to 70% off. Shoppers are also encouraged to look for new items to be added during the sale and even deeper discounts. However, quantities are limited.

Kitchenware Today has scrolled through MacKenzie-Childs’ Barn Sale and a few items caught our eye:

Keep the Check Six-Piece Knife Set out for countertop beautification or to chop fruits and veggies in style at a moment’s notice. The set features five stainless-steel knives with handles covered in our signature checks. Suitable for a variety of tasks, the knife styles include paring, utility, bread, santoku, and chef, all stored in the accompanying wooden knife block.

The heavy-gauge steel underbody is glazed with hand-painted, color-dragged checks in a range of blue hues and rimmed in bronzed stainless steel. Each piece of Royal Check reflects the artisan’s hand, so no two are exactly alike, although they all work together in perfect harmony.

Serve guests in style with the Check Hostess Serving Set. Made of durable stainless steel, the set includes a serving spoon, a serving fork, a sugar spoon, and a butter knife. Handy to have around the house or as a thoughtful hostess gift, these utensils detailed in MacKenzie-Childs’ signature checks.

From stovetop to tabletop, the Royal Check 3 Qt. Casserole features a  heavy-gauge steel underbody that is glazed with hand-painted, color-dragged checks in a range of blue hues that are similar in theme to the Courtly Check and rimmed in bronzed stainless steel. And to top it all off, a robin’s nest stands in as a delightful knob that is decorative and functional.
