Made In has debuted a new bread knife that was designed in partnership with Chef Nancy Silverton.

Designed with a pointed and wide serration profile to provide a high-level of carving performance, the limited edition handle is made from ivory colored micarta, which is a resin and fabric composite. The three brass rivets were hand-selected by Silverton.

Made in France, the knife has a blade length of 9-inches and a total length of 14-inches and features 24 serrated points.

The limited-edition knife comes in a box designed by Los Angeles based artist, Coco Shinomiya. The bread knife is fully-forged and full tang, resulting in a blade that will stay sharp and durable.

Silverton is best known as an American chef, baker and author. The 2014 winner of the James Beard Foundation’s Outstanding Chef Award, she is known for popularizing sourdough and artisan breads in the United States.

Made In has priced the bread knife at $169.
