Rubbermaid is teaming with New York Times best-selling author Katherine Schwarzenegger to host the “Brilliance Prep School” cooking class with the focus on transforming a handful of pantry and refrigerator staples into a variety of dishes.
Joining Schwarzenegger will be Jocelyn Delk Adams, a food blogger, and award-winning cookbook author and driving force behind the brand Grandbaby Cakes.
The class scheduled for Thursday, July 9, at 1 p.m. will also showcase Rubbermaid’s Brilliance food storage container assortment and how the line can help consumers safely and effectively store food. It will be streamed via Instagram Live from Schwarzenegger’s Instagram page, @katherineschwarzenegger.
“Like many people, over the last few months I’ve started to bake more and try some basic recipes,” said Schwarzenegger, the daughter of actor Arnold Schwarzenegger and journalist Maria Shriver. “I have always been open and honest about not being super experienced in the kitchen and want to learn more, so being able to do that in quarantine has been a silver lining.”
Delk Adams added, “Recipes don’t need to be difficult to be delicious. Sometimes a dish just needs a handful of elements to make the flavors come to life. I think people are going to love what we come up with.”
Rubbermaid’s Brilliance food storage containers feature a 2-latch design and airtight leak-proof seal, are made from odor resistance materials that are dishwasher-safe and are equipped with vents that allow for microwaving with the lids in place.
