SMEG, long known for its assortment of fashion-forward kitchen electrics, has pulled the plug with the company’s latest product introduction.

The kitchenware supplier is spreading its wings with the debut of its first cookware line in the United States. All items in the collection are made in Italy.

“During a time when cooking at home has become more prevalent than ever, SMEG is thrilled to deliver even more culinary solutions to our customers,” said Wayne Ackerson, SMEG’s National Sales Manager, Small Appliance Division. “The kitchen is truly the heart of the home, and that guiding value has always rung true for SMEG.”

The oven-safe lineup includes frying pans (available in four sizes: 9.5-inches, 10-inches, 11-inches and 12.5-inches in diameter), one wok pan, one deep sauté/braiser pan, and two casserole dishes (two sizes: 5-quart and 8-quart) that can be used as a stockpot, dutch-oven or casserole.

Each piece features an aluminum core that runs through the entire cooking vessel, said to ensure even heat distribution. The interior body of every piece is covered in a three-layer non-stick coating.

The collection is suitable for all types of cooktops, is dishwasher-safe, and is PFOA and nickel-free. Every piece is oven-safe and comes with a glass lid featuring stainless steel handles.

Consumers can purchase SMEG’s cookware collection online at, and choose from three signature SMEG colorways: matte cream, matte black and matte red. Each piece is also sold separately, retailing between $139.99-239.99.
