Long known for its assortment of power blenders, the new launch from Vitamix is focused on enhancing the performance of what sits atop its bases.
The company has debuted its Stainless Steel Container. The 48-ounce carafe is said by the company to be stain- and odor-resistant that is also nonreactive and easy-to-clean. The new container is compatible with all full-size Vitamix motor bases.
Similar to the company’s BPA-free Eastman Tritan containers, the stainless steel unit also allows consumers to make of variety of blends including soups, non-dairy milks, raw vegetable smoothies along with nut and seed butters.
“Vitamix users have different needs, desires and preferences when it comes to preparing meals for themselves and their families – and many of our customers expressed a desire for a stainless steel container,” said Scott Hackman, the company’s vice president, strategy, brand and marketing operations.
The new stainless steel container also harkens back to the early days of Vitamix. The company’s first blender introduced in 1937 featured a stainless steel container.
Additionally, the container features the Cleveland-based company’s SELF-DETECT technology, which allows the Ascent/Venturist series of blenders to automatically recognize the container and adjust blend settings accordingly to its size.
The Stainless Steel Container is priced at $199.95 and is available at vitamix.com. It comes with a three-year warranty.
