For more than 35 years, Nordic Ware has been a key kitchenware supplier to Walmart. The relationship between the Minnesota-based manufacturer of cookware and bakeware began in 1986 when David Dalquist responded to a call from Sam Walton seeking products made in America.
This year, Nordic Ware celebrates its 75th anniversary and remains a staple in the kitchenware selection at Walmarts across the country.
Recently, John Furner, president and CEO of Walmart U.S., paid a visit to Nordic Ware headquarters to see the company’s operations up close. While there, Furner spoke with Jennifer Dalquist, executive vice president, sales and marketing to gain insight on Nordic Ware and talk about the many years the two companies have done business together.
