High-end cookware sets are an investment for any home chef and with some priced north of $500, finding the one that fits all your cooking needs can be a challenge.
A new player in the crowded marketplace comes from Williams Sonoma, which introduced its thermo-clad non-stick cookware collection. Sold under the Williams Sonoma brand, the retailer teamed with Napa Valley-based cookware supplier Hestan to create the line.
The partnership between Sonoma and Hestan is good news for shoppers. Often, when retailers look to create a private label product line, they may go direct to a factory or choose a supplier that may not be adept at creating an upscale assortment.
Having Hestan as the supplier of the cookware line ensures that a better quality product is made to the retailer’s exacting standards.
The new collection is manufactured to Sonoma’s specifications and is built for maximum heat efficiency and durability. Tri-ply layering incorporates a premium nonstick finish, a hard-anodized aluminum body and a stainless-steel induction base.
Notable features include dishwasher and oven safe, safe for use with metal utensils, PFOA-free nonstick coating and safe for use with all types of cooktops, including induction.
The 10-piece set priced at $599.95 includes:
